1. Roger Williams Park/Zoo Spring time is a beautiful time to live here in Rhode Island. We’re blessed to have many state and city parks around us. Def fave: Roger Williams located in Providence/Cranston. Not only is it a beautiful time to visit during the spring, but you can also feed ducks and swans, take part in some fun water based activities, and there is a zoo right in the park! It’s not a bad idea to even take a nice and scenic walk and jog throughout, or have yourself a peaceful picnic. http://www.rwpzoo.org/ 2. Mulligans Island Mini Golf Mini Golf is definitely a blast no matter what age you are. This is fun as a family outing, a social event with some friends or even a date night! We recommend going to Mulligan’s Island located in Cranston, where they offer some yummy food, batting cages, driving range, mini golf and even regular golf courses as well. We love coming here during the spring because the weather is just right and they close for wintertime. Get your inner athlete going at this fun location! http://www.mulligansisland.com/ 3. RISD Museum If you have a love for design or art, Rhode Island is a great place to be. Within our own city of Providence, you can experience beautiful architecture and design just from walking along some of our streets downtown and amongst the East Side. But if you want to see more, we always recommend the RISD museum. There are always amazing pieces and art on display. Plus, you can get a look at some the beautiful pieces our very own students in the state have produced. https://risdmuseum.org/ 4. Wicked Tulips Flower Farm Flowers are definitely a staple symbol of Spring-time. We all love seeing the color pop up and blossom around the state. One of the sweetest and most fun ways to experience flower picking is by going to the Tulips farm located in Johnston, R.I. It only comes around April-Late May and tickets sell out quick for the “U-Pick” events, so keep your eye on the weather and purchase them as soon as possible! A peaceful, spectacular and beautiful Rhode Island spring experience. https://wickedtulips.com/ 5. Donuts, donuts and more donuts! Not only are donuts delicious, but many of them are fun and colorful! What better way to get in a good mood than to purchase a colorful and yummy donut at some of our favorite shops across the state? We have oh-so-many favorite places to choose from! Some of these include Allie’s Donuts in North Kingstown (of course), 4 Corners Coffee in Warwick (where they have square donuts and also serve coffee and barbecue!) and Glaze’N’Daze in Johnston. Eat a donut and enjoy the weather! https://www.glazendazedonuts.com/ 6. Dining and Strolling on Main Street in East Greenwich We like to think of Main Street as a “mini” Providence or Boston. Although it’s only a few miles of spanning area, it’s filled with some of the best restaurants, cafes, shops, boutiques and marinas. The hustle and bustle only picks up during the spring time on Main Street and it’s definitely worth a visit! There is also a theater, the Greenwich Odeum, where you can watch various concerts, shows and performing arts. Some of the most popular places on Main Street include Blu on the Water, T’s, La Masseria restaurant, Grille on Main, Jiggers and more! http://www.mainstreeteastgreenwich.com/dining/ 7. R1 Indoor Karting You know what they say… April showers bring May flowers. On a rainy spring afternoon, what better way to get your heart pumping than with a little indoor racing on one of the newest indoor tracks in New England? R1 is great for kids and adults, as well as for events! There’s also a sports bar and restaurant in there as well to make it the perfect rainy day outing for all ages. https://r1indoorkarting.com/ 9. East Bay Bike Path Enjoying time outside is many peoples favorite thing to do as soon as the weather starts warming up. Biking is not only healthy, but it’s relaxing! One of the most popular bike paths here in Rhode Island is the East Bay Bike Path, which lets you bike a whopping 15 miles! It extends all the way from India Point Park in Providence to Independence Park in Bristol. This path is particularly relaxing because it’s mainly flat, other than a few small hills here and there. http://www.dot.ri.gov/community/bikeri/eastbay.php 10. Raffa Yoga Something many of us are bad at is relaxing - not just our bodies, but our minds too. Spring can still be stressful for a number of people, even with the birds chirping, flowers blooming and trees regaining color. A great way to eliminate or help control that stress is through exercise. One of our favorites is YOGA! With awesome reviews and a calming environment, Raffa in Cranston is a great place to go for one of the best yoga experiences around. Did we mention they also do the Anti-Gravity yoga? Talk about fun! http://raffayoga.com/yoga/home/ Feel free to contact us with any questions or if you are looking a great gift for your lover! Chanel sunglasses? Oakley sunglasses? Maybe a sweet pair of RayBan sunglasses? We can assist with the perfect style and color as a fashionable surprise!
